SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Despite it being close to Santa’s busiest day of the year, the Sacramento Elks Lodge 6 has made special arrangements to welcome Santa Claus to its annual “Breakfast With Santa,” held from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Dec. 21. Tell Grandma she can bring her own camera or cell phone and take all the pictures she wants with Santa.
The breakfast begins with a ham-carving station. The rest of the menu includes egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, French toast, waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon, potatoes, juice, and of course coffee. All of this is offered at $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 6 to 10. Those prices include tax and tip; donations to the Purple Pig are encouraged. Santa said that children 5 and under eat for free.
Reservations are requested for families of six or more by calling 916-442-6666.
If you’re calling for Breakfast With Santa reservations, you might also want to reserve your spot for the Elks New Year’s Eve Celebration. Early reservations are encouraged, as this event usually sells out. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and features prime rib with baked potato, vegetables, Caesar salad and dessert.
Music begins at 9 p.m. with Innersoul, a sophisticated Sacramento old school dance band known for soulful renditions of R&B and Latin dance classics. Their dance grooves are pure emotional fire, providing elegant and lively entertainment leading up to the midnight countdown, balloon drop and champagne toast.
There will also be a silent auction. All of this is available for $80 at Elks Lodge 6, 6446 Riverside Blvd.
