SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - On Saturday, Oct. 19, more than 400 community members gathered for an evening filled with thrills and laughter at the seventh annual Haunted House and Trunk-or-Treat event, organized by iYa Taekwondo. This year’s event was the biggest and scariest yet, highlighting the neighborhood’s Halloween celebrations.
Attendees were greeted with a spooky haunted house, known for being the most terrifying in the area. From eerie sound effects to unexpected jump scares, participants of all ages braved the haunted halls, with many leaving with a mix of adrenaline and excitement.
In addition to the haunted house, the event’s trunk-or-treat brought a fun, festive atmosphere. Dozens of decorated trunks lined the area, each one showcasing a unique Halloween theme. From the Adam’s Family to Harry Potter, the creative designs added excitement for trick-or-treaters of all ages, who collected candy and enjoyed the playful atmosphere.
Safety was a priority, and with careful planning, families were able to enjoy the event in a secure environment.
The sense of community was evident, with neighbors coming together to celebrate the spirit of the season.
Now in its seventh year, the event has become a beloved tradition, bringing both scares and smiles to the neighborhood. As iYa Taekwondo continues to grow this annual Halloween festivity, it looks forward to providing more fun, fright, and community engagement in the years to come.
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s event such a success!
