SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - 12 youths from Sacramento have conquered District 7, Section 4 and the NorCal State Little League Tournament. They are now heading to San Bernandino for the West Region Tournament, competing against Southern California, Arizona and Hawaii. The West Region is a region that sends teams to the Little League World Series.

It has been more than 40 years since a Land Park Pacific Little League team has made it this far.

Land Park Pacific families are financially liable for anywhere from $1,500 to as much as $5,000 if the team makes it to the Little League World Series. Car trips, flights and hotel rooms cost money.

The team has set a goal of raising $30,000; if they do not make it to the World Series, the money would be used to better Land Park Pacific Little League. Donations can be made at givebutter.com/JTJ.
